প্রশ্নটা narration বা উক্তি পরিবর্তনের একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ নিয়ম যাচাই করছে। বিকল্পগুলোর পেছনের direct speech: He has said to me, I will go but you will stay here in Dhaka।
মূল নিয়ম: reporting verb present বা present perfect tense-এ থাকলে, যেমন says বা has told, indirect speech-এ reported speech-এর tense বদলায় না। তাই will থেকে would হবে না, will-ই থাকবে।
তবে pronoun বদলায়, বক্তা ও শ্রোতার দৃষ্টিকোণ অনুযায়ী। বক্তার I হয়ে যায় he, আর আমাকে বলা you হয়ে যায় I। indirect speech-এ সাধারণত said to-এর বদলে told বসে, আর যোগ হয় that।
here বদলায় না যদি প্রতিবেদক একই জায়গায় থাকেন; এখানে সেটিই ধরা হয়েছে। সব মিলিয়ে সঠিক বাক্য: He has told me that he will go but I will stay here in Dhaka।
ফাঁদ হলো would-সহ বিকল্পটি। past reporting verb-এর নিয়ম মুখস্থ থাকায় অনেকে অভ্যাসবশে will বদলে would করেন, কিন্তু has told present perfect, তাই এখানে tense অপরিবর্তিত থাকে।

ক. He has said to me that I will go but you will stay there in Dhaka.: মূল ভুল হলো I আর you বদলানো হয়নি, ফলে কে যাবে আর কে থাকবে উল্টে গেছে, আর here-ও অকারণে there হয়েছে; তার ওপর প্রচলিত নিয়মে has said to me-এর বদলে has told me বসে।
গ. He has told me that I would go but you would stay there in Dhaka.: would ভুল, কারণ reporting verb present perfect; আর pronoun না বদলানোয় কে যাবে, কে থাকবে তাও উল্টে গেছে।
ঘ. He has told me that he would go but I would stay here in Dhaka.: pronoun ঠিক আছে, কিন্তু has told present perfect হওয়ায় will বদলে would করা যায় না।
reporting verb present বা present perfect হলে শুধু pronoun বদলান, tense নয়।
has told বললে will থাকে will।
